Kalamandir had a humble beginning in 2005, when it was started as a small retail outlet for sarees in Hyderabad. Today, we have nine showrooms across Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka which are strategically placed in hotspots of cities making them easily accessible. In these five years, Kalamandir has seen remarkable growth, the credit of which goes to the management and staff of Kalamandir, who insist on supreme quality and customer satisfaction.

Mr. Chalavadi Naga Kanaka Durga Prasad – Chairman & MD

An MBA holder from the Institute of Management Education, Pune, Mr Chalavadi Naga Kanaka DurgaPrasad has more than five years of experience in the retail industry. The brain behind the company’s growth, he also possesses a degree in Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. His excellent business acumen has led to the successful expansion of our showrooms in the last few years. Managing a number of jobs like finance, internal controls and security systems, he is good at making tactical decisions. Instrumental in expanding the horizons of the business, he aspires to take the company to the new heights.

Mr. Chalavadi D K Durga Rao – Director

A graduate in commerce from the Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh and a post graduate in Computing from the Griffith University, Australia, Mr. Chalavadi D K Durga Rao has over a decade’s experience as a software developer, systems analyst and database administrator in USA. In charge of the Bangalore based showrooms, he has played a key role in the marketing and expansion of the Bangalore units.

Mr. Kalyan Srinivas Annam – Director

A management post graduate from the Institute of Marketing and Management, New Delhi, Mr. Kalyan Srinivas Annam is entrusted with the administration of the Bangalore branches. His five years of experience in the retail industry plus his instinctive managerial skills have contributed to the quick expansion of our group in Bangalore.
