Kalamandir Foundation Anti-Drug Campaign

As part of Kalamandir’s 1st anniversary on 7th July, Kalamandir Foundation has initiated the “SUPER STAR ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGN 2011”. This initiative is being endorsed by celebrities of Tollywood, Kollywood & Mollywood. The list of celebrities includes Ravi Teja, Vikram, Mammootty, Ambareesh, Lakshmi Manchu, Prakash Raj, Samantha, Mamta Mohandas, Allari Naresh, Puri Jaganath, Krish, Rock line Venkatesh, Upendra, Krish, Devakata, Sukumar, Sandeep, Tapsee and others who are coming together to raise their voice against drugs.

This is a unique initiative in Andhra Pradesh by Kalamandir Foundation and it is attracting many other celebrities in the cine circuit to be a part of it. According to a report, there are nearly 70million drug users in the country and nearly 5000 people below 21 years die due to drug overdose each year. With drug abuse becoming rampant, the foundation has decided to create awareness regarding the same.
